The crew from Sarginsons Tree Services were top notch. Skilled at tree removal, we had 3, and excellent cleanup. Because of the snow, they ploughed the area where the trees were to be dropped which made for a thorough cleanup. The crew were polite and didn’t cut corners. Stacked wood where requested. We used Sarginson’s tree service twice this year to address severe damage caused by the ice storm in April. We were so very impressed with this company! Both times the work was completed with care and expertise. The team was wonderful and everything looked fantastic when they were done. We also appreciated that this company is excellent when it comes to difficult areas to reach and they come with all the equipment necessary to complete the work safely. Chris removed a 30 year old poplar from our backyard that grown to over 75 feet tall. Chris arrived early as scheduled on Oct 16 with a team of 6 people, and they worked incredibly hard to cut the tree down limb by limb. They were incredibly efficient, clean, and even my neighbour was super impressed with how well they did the job, and did not leave a single leaf on either of our backyards as they cleaned up. Would highly recommend Chris and his team for any tree work you need.

We used Sarginson's to trim back our big English oak tree. They had the proper equipment and did a great job. They cleaned up the cuttings and were done in approximately one hour. They communicated with us at every step along the way. Chris and his crew were excellent to deal with.

Chris and his team did an exceptional job removing several large trees from our property. They arrived punctually with all the necessary equipment and took great care to protect our lawn by laying down protective tracks, allowing the heavy cherry picker truck to access the trees without causing damage. The crew was well-organized, with multiple team members efficiently cutting and clearing debris. They used 2 wood chippers to process branches and worked swiftly while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

What truly set them apart was their meticulous cleanup—when they were done, the area was spotless. Their estimate was so fair, I had to ask if they were sure! Our 50-year-old Norway maple was safely removed in less than 90 minutes, with the stump gone just a couple of days later. Chris and his team did a phenomenal job removing an old, rotting tree from my backyard. Before starting the job, Chris came to the house to provide a quote and answer any questions. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. He explained the “how” and the “why” behind the problems with our tree and how he would remove the tree and stump. On the day of the job, Chris and his team showed up on time and took very little time to remove the tree. I was so impressed with how efficiently the team operated (this is reflected by their google reviews) and even more impressed with their clean up job. Highly recommend Chris and his team from Sarginson’s Tree Removal Services from Courtice. Chris removed a large sugar maple tree from backyard in Oshawa that was very close to house and garage and extending over to neighbours. It took 8 hrs to remove the tree and cleanup. Chris is very skilled and knowledgeable. His quotes and options provided were very reasonable and all communication was excellent. He and team worked diligently, safely and were professional and polite. A bucket truck was used to reach part of tree but for most part Chris had to climb the tree to cut down each limb carefully and they used ropes to guide. They cut up wood (as requested) and even stacked for me. (I saved some $ by not having logs removed)They removed all smaller branches and debris and used a chipper. They swept and blew away shavings as part of cleanup.
I was very satisfied with the job and Chris. Would recommend for tree removal. (I didn’t get tree stump grinded as an extra cost, but may do later)

Chris and his team are super efficient and informative. He came out gave me a quote and then measured the trees to make sure that they were able to be removed. All trees passed and within no time he was back to complete the work with his team. We will be using his services again in the spring.

We hired Chris and his team to take down our massive 55 year old willow tree and 2 other trees. They also pruned two others. They were here early and stayed late until everything was finished. They cleaned up the yard after and took all the wood with them! Very hard workers. They offered to leave some of the wood that is good for burning, which we weren't aware of. So now we have firewood as well! 10/10 will use them again and would recommend to anyone! Thanks guys for the amazing job. Here are some photos of during and after!

Chris and his team at Sarginson's Tree Service did an absolutely phenomenal job removing a large tree off my property. The tree was very close to the house, causing concern. However, they were able to remove the tree and all branches / debris without provoking any damage to the building or lawn. Recently Chris and his team remove a huge maple from our front yard (needed to go). It was about 80 feet tall and was within 8 feet of our house. I watched in amazement as they took the tree down and was totally impressed with both their bravery and professionalism. The clean up after was fantastic and he even cut a few large slices for me to use in the future for a woodworking project.

Contact Ontario One Call at least five business days before you plan to dig. You can submit a request online at ontarioonecall.ca or call 1-800-400-2255. The service is free.
