Need a tree removed, branches pruned or advice about a tree on your property?
Sarginson’s Tree Services helps homeowners across Durham Region and Northumberland County, as well as selected communities in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Whether you’re concerned about a damaged tree or planning work on your property, explore our local service areas below, see examples of our work, and get in touch to discuss what you need.
From established neighbourhoods in Oshawa and Whitby to properties in Ajax, Pickering, Courtice and Bowmanville, trees often grow close to homes, fences, garages and neighbouring properties.
Some need careful pruning to improve their structure or manage overhanging branches. Others may need removal after damage, decay, or changes to the property.
Every tree and every property is different. Understanding the tree’s condition, available access, and what the homeowner wants to achieve helps determine the right approach.

Northumberland County has a mixture of established residential neighbourhoods, country homes and larger properties with mature trees.
Whether you’re in Cobourg, Port Hope, or a nearby community, tree work can involve anything from pruning overgrown branches to removing a tree near buildings or fences.
It’s important to understand the work involved and how we’ll protect the surrounding property.

Choosing a tree-service company is easier when you can see the kind of work it has undertaken.
Our project articles include removing a damaged silver maple in Pickering, a dead elm near neighbouring structures in Cobourg, and storm-damaged silver maples near a home in Bobcaygeon. These examples show why the tree’s condition, the surrounding property, and equipment access all matter when planning tree work.
