In this job we removed multiple dead ash trees for one of our commercial clients in Oshawa. Sadly, all of the ash trees have died on this site from Emerald Ash Borer. Once a tree is infected with EAB it starts to kill the tree by affecting the tree’s ability to transport nutrients and moisture to the crown of the tree. This quickly causes the ash tree to decline and die. White rot starts to form in the truck of the tree making them extremely unstable.

After our certified arborist conducted a tree risk assessment, he concluded they were an imminent danger to the public and we removed them. Once the ash tree has died these trees can be extremely unsafe to climb. So we used our bucket truck to take down the tree for the safety of our employees and passers by. Without quick action, these trees could have fallen into a high traffic area and caused serious injury or worse.
